Calf Pricing
Our calf pricing will vary depending on color, breed, specific markings and whether they test as Chondro positive. All calves that fall under the Chondro + category, will be considered Micro/Miniature. A Highpark calf is a cross between a Scottish Highland and a British Whitepark. Chondro + Highlands will not be 100% Highland, as Highlands do not carry the Chondrodysplasia gene. This gene comes from the Dexter breed and causes shorter legs, hence the micro-miniature title. Our calf base prices are as follows:

The above-listed prices are only a base price. The price can increase based on certain features, characteristics, genetics, specific coloration. The final sale price of all calves will include a veterinarian health check, as well as being up to date with all vaccinations as listed in the sale contract. The purchase of any Chondro + animal will come with genetic test result paperwork, which is typically performed by the VGL laboratory at UC Davis. At the purchaser’s request, we can perform genetic testing on any calf. Genetic testing can include chondro status, red/black dominant, dun coloration, and polled test. The prices above DO NOT include transport services. It is the buyer’s responsibility to arrange the pickup of any calves purchased. SB can help to arrange transportation, as we work with several reputable livestock transport companies. This additional fee would be the responsibility of the buyer. A signed contract and a 50% non-refundable deposit are required to hold a calf. The balance is due prior to the calf leaving our farm, and by the communicated pick up date. In the event the buyer cannot arrange transportation by the pickup date, set by Sweet Berry Miniature Cattle Company, or final payment cannot be made by the set date, SB will provide continued care for the calf at a rate of $25.00 per day until the calf is picked up. Our calves will be well loved, constantly handled, and socialized with other cattle and humans until the day they leave. We will start them in the halter, desensitize them to water, brushing, and blow drying. These practices will ensure that your new calf will arrive as docile, friendly, and healthy as possible.
